Both fighters apparently spent a significant amount of time together, meeting for both breakfast and dinner. They were also involved in a photo shoot.

What they talked about, however, was not disclosed.

Of course, anyone with an MMA heartbeat knows that they must've at least touched upon the possibility of a future fight. After Emelianenko defeated Tim Sylvia at Affliction: Banned, both he and Couture once again disclosed their hope to mix it up in the future.

In other words, it's not like anything has changed on that topic. It's been the same since day one.

It's hard to tell how this fight will get done. Here's hoping that it does get done, however.
